Questions people ask
Do our clients need a licence?
No. Clients and read-only viewers are free on every plan and never count as seats. They do not need a Jira licence either — the board is served by Capaline.
Does it replace Jira?
No, and it should not. Jira stays the tracker where work moves. Capaline is the layer that knows capacity, rates and margin — the things a tracker was never built to hold.
What happens after fourteen days?
The card on file is charged on day fifteen unless you cancel. If a payment fails later, you keep seven days of grace, and a locked workspace can still be read and exported.
Is VAT included in the price?
Prices exclude VAT. A company with a valid VAT number is not charged it — enter the number at checkout and the reverse charge applies.
Where is our data?
EU edge on Cloudflare, database in the EU. Tokens of other systems are encrypted at rest with a key that never leaves the platform.
Can we import from a spreadsheet?
Yes — and from Jira, which is usually faster. A sprint can be built from a Jira board in one dialog.
